Sign of a bad Wonder Woman story? When they start implying she isn't fully a human. To be a human is to have emotions for other beings. Wonder Woman is the most compassionate being in the DC Universe. That's why I love her character so much. That's why I love WW84 so much. Every story I read that says this just tells me they never understood her character in the first place and have no reason to write the character.
