oh. i'm like. obsessed. this book is gorgeous and i read it in one sitting. gurba writes with such energy and beauty about race, sexuality, sexual assault, childhood, college.... the passages abt sexual assault really got to me, in the best way. i've never read better writing abt sexual assault. this is the second book from coffee house press i've read, and the second i've absolutely adored.
