This book had the potential to be a masterpiece but in the end, I was left feeling rather indifferent.

SpoilerI typically don't like insta-love type tropes but given the circumstances and the trauma that Astra went through, I actually appreciated that Noah was kind, stable, and consistent in his affection from the very beginning. I initially really liked him because of that, however, I have to admit that by the end I found him a little boring, predictable, and at times kind of cringy. And while Astra's feelings were super relatable at times, the conflicts throughout the book sometimes felt forced.

I think their relationship was beautiful overall, I just think the execution of this book was lacking (especially when compared to hue of blu) and I didn't get as emotionally invested as I know I should have.

It was an okay story, Astra frustrated me sometimes but aside from that, the writing seemed to be very...philosophical? Half the time? It seemed like it was on a mission to deliver pretty sentences in situations that seemed unnecessary

If I could give this book 7✨️ I would.
It's such a beautiful and heartbreaking story and it's so well-written.
It's one of the best books I've read and will definitely be rereading it in the future when I need a reminder that this kind of love exists in real life too, when I need a pick me up, when I struggle with self image and self love.
This book made me see some important stuff in my life differently and I want to thank the author for doing exactly that.
This is the only book where I read the aknowledgement at the end because I just didn't want it to end.
10/10 would recommend to anyone who feels lost sometimes and wants a hand to show them it's okay to not be okay because you'll find the people soon who are meant to make you feel okay again. 🌸🌸🌸🌸

If I could give this more that 5⭐ I probably would.
I started to read this book and couldn't put it down, these characters had me wanting to know more and more about them. It's such a beautiful story. I love how real it feels, how mundane, how you get to know these characters, their stories, what makes them be the way they are.
Astra, I just wanted to give her a big hug and tell her that she was lovable, that she is worth every good thing in her life, and even if she didn't see it, I was so fucking proud of her by the end of the book.
Noah, he is such a kind soul it just make me fall in love with him immediately, we definitely need more people like him in the world.
For me, this has become one my favourite romance stories I've ever read, and there is such beauty in the way it's written. There are so many quotes that just got to my heart.
This is also proof, that sometimes books just come to you in the moments you need them most, when you need a bit of hope for life, for love.
