Just wondering what a girl has to do to get kidnapped by my fiancés rival and locked in a mansion. I guess step one is get a fiancé sooo I guess that’s out. Also I don’t know why he doesn’t consider laying around eating and reading a valuable way to spend your time.

I was initially going to give this book 3.25 stars but then I remembered the cum gurgling scene!!!! IMMEDIATELY NO. 2.5 and the .5 is for the last 15 pages.

It was everything I wanted - a true, spicy break from reality. A billionaire romance so rich it made my head spin. A cute little Beauty and the Beast-coded love fest where a man who will never believe in love slowly thaws until it’s all he can think about.

I haven’t read either of these authors in a hot minute, but I’m diving into the second book in this series immediately.

Ugh…best way to describe this book. It wasn’t bad nor was it good. I love the banter, humor and I’m a sucker for a grumpy Male protagonist. Some of spicy scenes had me clutching my pearls bc wow.

But it was a little too long. Nothing about this story or characters felt unique. The writing was okay. A lot of the side characters added no value to the story. Although I like the grumpy/sunshine and enemies to lovers trope. It didn’t feel like they brought any new to these characters. I also hate it when the female character is writing as an immature toddlers. Do I regret reading it? …No. Would I read it again?…No.
