Wonderful read, its not often where you reach the end of the book and hope desperately for characters, even flawed ones, to be able to maintain a happily ever after. Such a whimsical series with both the fantastical and dark parts that you find in traditional fairy tales.

I want to live in this book! I do not understand how Stephanie Garber can create such perfect stories with such intricate details to make you feel utterly absorbed. Jacks is incredibly, I surprisingly rooted for Evangeline and hated Apollo which I guess was the whole point

This was the best one out of the three, the pacing was nice as the story kept on happening. I like the different pov’s as they showed the thoughts behind the characters.

I like that there was a tiny crossover with the caraval series. And of course I like the ending as it completed the series nicely.

It’s a nice read for fantasy lovers that like the more magical side of the genre. It gives a bit of Alice in wonderland vibes of, which I really like.

this book moved incredibly fast. it could have easily been 100 pages longer and without all the re-explaining!!! and yet i feel like there was no resolution? there was no explaining for things that genuinely needed more explanation. what a let down from the second book.

stephanie stephanie stephanie… you should stick to dialogue.

Hahaha what the heck was that?

I wouldn't recommend this series to anyone unless they enjoy being extremely let down.  Plot lines? Abandoned. Questions? Unanswered. Characters personalities? Abruptly altered.

I had such a fun time just sinking into the first two books of this series.... Now I just feel like an idiot for ever enjoying them.

2 stars because the writing got better.

I know this book has its flaws but I still enjoyed it. And I do think plenty of it was well done. I enjoyed this whole series so much, I cried when I finished this book. It left me so full of love and hope.
