“Lock Every Door” is filled with twists and turns. Sager has outdone herself in this riveting thriller. The prestigious Bartholomew building is exclusive to the most wealthy and famous in society. Why, then, are they paying young, often unemployed adults to reside amongst the wealthy—promising a $12,000 income for apartment sitting in the most exclusive building in New York? Is this too good to be true? Jules determines it’s just what she needs until a fellow tenant disappears. As Jules unravels the mystery of the disappearance, she discovers the building’s disturbing past, with its haunted history as being the site of dozens of deaths and murders. But does she find out too late? What’s really happening behind the locked doors at Bartholomew?

I was in a slump when I picked this up. I stayed up pretty late at night to read this book. But at one point I had to give up bcoz my eyes were literally BEGGING ME TO STOP LMAO.
Anyways… this is my second sager book. After house across the lake I expected the book in a very different direction but honestly i didnt see that ending coming. I have to say I really liked the storyline, the plot and everything. It was so intriguing. Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. When I was not reading I was still thinking about the book and all which was unexpected since I was in a slump. This not only helped me in my slump but also I really enjoyed highly recommend!

This is the second Riley Sager I’ve read, they’re a fun ride. The trend I’ve noticed is that you think it’s a supernatural villain/aggressor but it generally turns out to be a Scooby-Doo style ending where the villain is just a regular person doing terrible things. I don’t know if I’d prefer a more “spooky” reveal?

I really enjoyed this book. It is not as good as some of Sager’s other books, but it was still an entertaining, page-turner. I would recommend people read it.
