Sometimes I need the characters to come alive so I could kick them. Ugh.

Fast-moving, high stakes addition to the series that I could not put down. I'm excited to see how Lerangis wraps up such an incredible series in the next book.

3.5 stars. Didn't like it that much comparing to the first books. I thought it was too predictable. I liked that it was fast paced but to the point that, like, certain events just happened in a snap. Reading the last book immediately. To finish the series.

I thought this was a strong addition to the series, and I enjoyed it much more than #3. It had been several months since I read the rest of the series and I wished that I had taken a bit of a refresher before diving into this one. But I thought it was another action-packed entry in the tale of Jack, Aly, Cass, and Marco. It ended on another cliff-hanger! PS. I still adore backwardish.
