At first, you hate the main character for the lack of empathy, but later because of a twist (which was great btw), you feel for him. I love the dynamic to the mc and Eri too, it makes sense is great. The end I interpreted as
the mc continuing to make movies, but this time it's with Eri. I see this because of the end where it refers to the first movie he made that had the same ending, which was fake only after finding out the death of his mother was happening right then. I think it's the same for the end of the manga, where we found out Eri was a vampire was real. But everything after was fake (as in the ending of the manga) as it's not what actually happened in the Mc's life, but what happened in another one of his movies.
Sorry if the 'mc' has a name. If he did, I totally forgot. Great character though.

A unique story that explores how much of reality can be captured by a camera, and how we can use it to shape our memories of someone. I've also never seen a manga use the panels in this way before, mimicking the aspect ratio of a film. Very creative and engaging.

10/10! Full Marks! 100,000 Points! 💖🌟 I laughed, I cried, and I was gagged several times while reading this manga! 😆 This will definitely go on my list of books I think everyone should read at some point in their life! It’s fascinating the way Fujimoto blurs the lines between fiction and reality. Just when you think you know what’s going on and where the story’s going you find out that you actually don’t.

There is such interesting commentary on life, death, the way we chose to remember the ones we lost, and how sometimes the memories we chose to keep and the way we view people through those memories blur the lines between reality and fiction. I’m not gonna say anymore than that though because I think everyone should go into this manga blind and experience it for themselves. ❤️🩵🩶🤍
