Reading the whole series for nostalgic reasons
I'm happy that the Baudelaire children were able to have some happiness with the quagmire triplets. The books follow the same format every time
the Baudelaires are placed with a terrible guardian, Olaf finds them, no one believes that it's Olaf and then Olaf gets away

Mr poe seriously gets on my nerves, dude doesn't believe it everytime

I actually quite liked this one! Refreshing after the Miserable Mill. The Quagmires were lovely characters that I had completely forgotten about, so discovering them again on my adult read through was wonderful. I deeply enjoyed the friendships between the orphaned sibling groups. The plot still has many incompetent adults who never listen to the kids, but the interactions of the Baudelaires and Quagmires made up for it.

Now this is what I was waiting for!! My reread of this series hasn't been that exciting so far, but I knew that the real good stuff was yet to come. And here it began! I loved the addition of the triplets, and the slight introduction of the larger plot of the series with the VFD. Really excited to keep rereading the rest.
