A pretty quick read. Nothing too new here, but this is an important topic and the book covers a lot of ground. Recommended for teens and up.

This book is a really great introduction to rape culture and sexual misconduct in the United States, and presented the reader with many great explorations of these issues. Although I do believe it is targeted towards and would be very valuable to a young audience (particularly American teens), I found it a great read to refresh my knowledge on this topic and would recommend it to anyone looking to expand their understanding of these issues that are so prevalent in today’s society.

No More Excuses examines rape culture - how we define it, how we perpetrate it and how we allow it to exist in today's society. Thought-provoking and well researched, it's a great 'gateway' book into the topic area, and although I would say it doesn't offer anything particularly new to the subject area, it does make the topic more accessible and offers good starting points for discussion.
This is clearly targeted at a younger audience, as the writing feels a little juvenile sometimes, with direct references to middle and high school students and their opinions, but I still think this is a valuable book to read.

It's an informative and eye-opening look at women's life through the lens of "rape culture." It can be inspiring to some while bleak to others. A few chapters, though, did seem repetitive.
