A lot like the first book, this was a quick and easy read. Not much to hold me other than the desire to find a new series to read. One more before I call this series as a lost effort and stop reading them.

Took too long to really get into it. It was enjoyable but I probably only liked the last 1/4 of it. I much prefer books to be fast paced!

Overall I did enjoy this book. The case itself and the killings were gold. Ironically the worst about this book is the “meetings” of the Woman’s Murder Club. Cindy’s romance felt odd and out of place and I was disappointed in who the killer ended up being.

Read this on June 2020, and its theme is relevant to what's currently happening in the news.

This series continues to be fantastic. These women are so positive and there for each other. They give each other hard truths and they don't get mad or blow up on each other they understand it's from a place of nothing but love. They prioritize each other and genuinely value each other's opinions and expertise.

Now, this book in particular did date itself and use some not so PC references. Maybe it was the times? Idk I was 10 when this book was originally published haha. In conclusion, I carry on with this series, loving it more and more as time goes on
