I cannot express how fantastic this book and the series was! It had everything my ideal book would have: horses, mystery, magic and love.
I honestly recommend this series for anybody who loves any of those four things!

Great little page turner mystery! This book brought the series to a nice close. I couldn’t put this book down & kept wanting to read just one more page! I was definitely surprised at how Vivienne’s relationships change from the end of the second book & carrying throughout this one. I was only slightly disappointed in who she ended the novel with as I thought the book was carrying us towards a different conclusion. It felt like this book could have used a few more pages near the end to wrap up some loose ends in more detail, but all in all this was a satisfying end.
There are too few horse lover mysteries out there & I would love to see this author write more novels!

This book reminds me a bit of the types of things I liked to write when I was younger. I was obsessed with animals and loved mysteries, so it's too bad this series wasn't around when I was a kid. I enjoyed reading it as an adult as well, however. This book was unique because there were lots of different components thrown in: there are elements of mystery, romance, a touch of the paranormal, and of course the equestrian topic.

The book was an easy read and kept me pretty interested as Vivienne tried to find out who murdered her friend, Joel. Perfect Harmony did not shy away from challenging topics when it came to the main characters' family relationships. That was one of the biggest strengths of the book. I felt there was a touch of "telling" that would have been more interesting if it was "shown" instead. I had never read any of the other books from this series, and I imagine I would have benefitted by knowing more about the characters' past situations if I had. The book does a good job of catching up the reader, however, and never seems too confusing. Overall, I enjoyed it. Anyone who loves reading about a strong female character and about horses would like it.

Please note: I received Perfect Harmony as part of a First Reads giveaway through Goodreads. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

*It should be noted that there are some adult themes included in this book that include some violence, some language, and some mild romantic relationship elements.
