This is a great addition to the HEAT series.
Kat is supposed to be on leave and is looking after a rescue cat over Christmas but she keeps bumping into her hot neighbour Gage.
They are drawn to each other and the chemistry is off the charts but when she realises that he could be in danger she knows that she needs her team to help keep him safe.
Plenty of drama and suspense but also so much love and emotion. I loved how they were together but could they make it through together.
A must read.

It was a cute story.

I had a hard time connecting to it. I enjoyed the characters, yet there felt like something was missing for me. There wasn't much in the way of emotions, so their relationship process felt flat.

This is a fun and fast paced rom-com. There's just something about a female spy, isn't there. Gage and Kat are just so cute together. This is a shorter book, so everything felt a little rushed, but it flowed really well. Even with the shorter length, I loved that there was a good character development, even with the "supporting cast". Our feline friend, Mr. Whiskerbottom Fuzzypants really does steal the show though. How perfect is that name?
