I enjoyed French's writing, even when I felt like the book was a bit of a slog. I was expecting a bit more suspense and dread than French delivered, though I don't mind that I didn't get it, because I really liked the relationship between Cal and Trey.

The audio book makes for an excellent bed time story. The slow pacing of the story and the drawn out way it's read put me sleep several times.
