Adorable! I love Waylon and his relationship with his twin sister Clementine. I love how he is still a kid in so many ways, like needing his mom to buy his clothes, and I love how much he adores his Grammy. Being gay is not a big deal in this book; he retells his really anti-climactic coming-out story in which his parents were like "yeah, we figured." They are super supportive. Even the jerks in this book were just so....unimportant? Yeah they were jerks, but they didn't do anything really terrible. Very much a feel-good book!

So good! The storyline was really good! I loved the LGBTQ aspect of it. This is the best one of the series. It needs to be made into a movie asap.

Just so adorable and heartwarming!

Such a cute coming of age story with great representation. I just love all these characters so much and will miss this small town. Dumplin will always hold a special place in my heart, but this one was wonderful as well.

More fun than I was expecting. A feel good story about being gay in a small Texas town. Beyond that, how to fit in in high school by being yourself.
