Well, I actually don't understand why Beckett needs to apologize to Sasha. He stated the truth, as opposed to being mean for sport, and the kid needs to learn a bit of reality. If he's going to learn and be responsible for something so important, he needs to take it seriously, specially when it concerns other people's safety/well-being.
