Really wonderfully done! I’d always heard Malala’s name but didn’t know what she was all about, and this was an excellent introduction to her. Easy for both kids and adults to understand, and a very compelling and sweet story. Her father is so so kind to her, it was both a heartbreaking and a heartwarming story. I liked the little term explanations as well!

I loved this book. The target audience is children and young teens which makes this book rather accessible in understanding the important topics discussed. I really enjoyed learning about Malala’s lived experience and I felt I could sympathise for what she went through. Not only is the memoir insightful and articulated well, but Malala added to her experience by adding positive outcomes and becoming an aspiration to a global audience. I rated this book 4 stars ⭐️.

Minor: Gun violence and Medical trauma
A very inspiring book that happened in real life about a brave girl speaking for female rights, and female education and male education. I’m glad she still speaks today.
