Really critical of Christianity and sees it as a bad thing that has all the power. Not ok at all. Agree with everything else.

This would be a great place for a young person wanting to know more about how to be anti-racist to start.

Though it’s geared towards young adults, I found this book incredibly helpful in terms of defining terms, and providing actionable items for us to do (either on our own or as educators, parents, etc.) Highly recommend!

A colorful and engaging book about racism and how to recognize it and take action against it. This book is appropriate for middle grade kids through adults. The information is presented in an easy to understand manner and each chapter ends with activities that you can do to help you understand the message and yourself better.

This book would be great for use in a school setting or at home.

I received a digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first non fiction book I have read in a while. It was quite refreshing to be indulged in knowledge. The story of the author Tiffany made me realize I am not the only person who spent their whole early childhood assuming they were white. My situation was different from hers, but I find comfort in being able to relate to someone. I read this book in school, so I didn’t have time to do the activities, but I do hope one day I will be able to pick up this book again and do them.

Beautiful! The illustrations draw you in. Great for students and adults. I love the applicable activities that bridge the theory with our day-to-day. A must read for anyone, especially those who work with young people.
