J.D. Tyler is a new to me author and I accidentally jumped in to the Alpha Pack series on book 5 but I loved it! I felt that Ms. Tyler did a great job of recapping the paranormal world and the secondary characters from the earlier books. There was a little bit of confusion on my part but that did fade as I continued through the story. Zan was injured and is battling to recover but he may never fully regain his full hearing or healing capabilities. Selene is craving revenge and finding the Alpha Pack is the first step to fulfilling her plan, what she doesn't expect to find is her Bondmate. Zan was ready to walk away from Alpha Pack but when Selene comes barreling in to his life he knows that his future has just changed for the better. With a threat inching it's way closer and closer to Alpha Pack Zan and Selene have to work together to why they have been targeted before they lose their chance at a HEA. Great read, excited to continue this series!
