This book has a good idea but I wouldn't say I like it. Angel is very plain. A stereotypical broading man which was quite boring.
Not to mention that it was confusing. There were two characters we didn't even know the name of and they seemed important to Angel. According to the notes from other authors it takes place before the show and it only ties into the next book in the series.
So why not include the names of two characters. Not to mention it seemed like we were supposed to know certain information. This is a remake of a comic book series that eventually turned into a show. People (I am one of those people) will not have read the original or watched the show. Context is important!!!
