The Physics of Sorrow by Georgi Gospodinov and narrated by Toby Stephens is a stunning work loosely based on the legend of the Minotaur as its analoous base and it really works

Toby Stephens is a fantastic narrator, emulating the highly emotive narrative with a captivating cadence

The author is navigating a labyrinth of life experiences which are grounded in the past, the rebirth of Bulgaria and the trepidation about a new, unknown future. Utterly engrossing and highly relatable, very much recommended

Thank you to Netgalley, Dreamscape Media, the author Georgi Gospodinov and narrator Toby Stephens for this exceptional ALC. My review is leftvoluntarily and all opinions are my own
