i loved this book so so much ! would recommend to anyone, i couldn’t put it down at all. loved the characters, world-building & everything so much. definitely one of my favourites ever.

This book was very confusing and hard to follow in parts but I still enjoyed it. I own the second one and will be starting to tomorrow.
I didn’t like how many characters they introduced at once it felt like way to many and the fact that Nova and Adrian have three names was very confusing. I found it really hard to concentrate at times, mostly during the parade at the beginning, I kept trying to figure out what was happening.
I picked up this book strictly because I loved Cinder so much and figured this one would probably work great too, I’m disappointed in this story as I feel like the author went down hill a bit from Cinder.
I’m interested to see how it ends though, so I feel as though she wrote something good enough.
The first half of the book is very boring and I had to push myself through it, I was planning on getting rid of the books but then I managed to finish the last half in a Couple hours and even stayed up to finish it. So maybe the author just does to much world building for my liking? Is that a thing?

WTH! Hmmmmm. Hmmmmm? Hm. WTH! But I kinda knew he was still alive when they said he jumped towards the fire of the cathedral
That was my reaction through the whole book. Also when he tried to kiss her and then she dodged was so embarrassing I have a feeling this trilogy has so much potential if the author just plays it right
