Guest appearance by the Admiral Lord Nelson and some interesting divergences from known history are starting to emerge (in this universe he didn't die at Trafalgar...)

Like most books in the series, it has its slow sections, but also has a lot of the interpersonal relationships, and large upheavals that set the stage for the next couple books.
