This was an emotional fast read. Can two people forgive and forget what happened 10 years ago? I question some things that happen in the book, because it really makes you think. Why did Will do what he did? Did Chloe ever tell him her secret? What about Amanda? Is she truly Will's love or will she always just be a rebound? One thing I know for sure is, don't take what you have in life for granted. Always tell your partner how you feel and what's going on. Never lie.

Okay dont get me wrong, the book was well written, touches a sensitive topics. But the actual plot of the book I didn't like.

SPOILERS

Well, Will hits his girlfriend he claims to love because he was drunk and jealous. Now theres basically no good reason to hit your partner. So I dont give a heck the reason, that would of been the end for me.
Then we find out that Chloe never told Will the truth when he thought she slept with someone because he forgave her.

They were both young and dumb but I stand by the point of once they hit once, leave. So I felt the emotions and love and regret will had but I hated that she took him back after that.

Okay, I don't totally know where to begin. I thought the book was a little too all over the place and I honestly found it confusing. I didn't really understand the positions of either of main characters and it didn't come together until a little too late in the book. I was really in a romance mood but this was just blah.

Fail To Fight has give my a emotional high and low ride through out the book. This is the first book in Unrequited Love series. Maci Dillon does this book in duel POV. Chloe and Will was engage 10 year ago but something happen and they break up. Now they meet up wanting to put the past to rest but the their feelings are stills there. And this is were we go on a emotional journey with them. As they try to found way back to each other.

The characters in Fail To Fight are great but at times was hard to like. Maci Dillon did amazing job flow their past with their present. Although there was some small thing I had trouble reading I still enjoy Fail To Fight and can’t wait to read the book in the series.

10 years ago Will and Chloe were happy when in an instant everything changed and Will was gone. Chloe has been left wondering why and has had to pick up the pieces to move on. Will has moved on but yet he has never forgotten that night or moved past it and it haunts him.

With one phone call all that is about to change but will it bring them the closure they need or will it sets their lives back and cause more problems for their future?

I liked this book but I must admit that I was both happy and mad at the ending.

I liked Chloe and understood her need to find out what happened and why things went the way they did. I was so sad to see how low she got and how she gradually got herself back up. I was shocked at her wanting the end the way it happened knowing she knew what was going on with Will. I didn't think less of her but I found it hard to believe that it would bring her the closure she needed.

In a way the same goes for Will but I liked him less as I can't believe he walked away and never reached out to Chloe after the events 10 years ago. That definitely frustrated me as Chloe deserved so much more than that. I felt bad for Amanda as I'm not sure why he went to her in the first place knowing how he felt about Chloe.
