I always love a book that has a chronic illness rep to it because people aren’t perfect! Those that live with a chronic illness struggle, usually in silence. I love the friendship between Evie and Theo but I love their love more. They’re so perfect and I love the flashback chapters so you understand the full story of their friendship. The feelings you feel with this book are real and you are rooting for them the whole time. You do get nervous that it won’t end on a HEA but never fear, it does!

Started this to give my sleepy brain a break from my fantasy novel and couldn't put it down, I had this checked out for less than 36 hours.
There's a LOT here. Most of the triggering content is in the past and brought up in time jumps. There'strauma from medical misdiagnosis, cancer and chronic autoimmune issues, anxiety rep, parental abandonment, and death of a parent. both of our mcs have been through a lot! But they're dumb and lovely and they love each other and they both go to therapy!
