I only laughed at one page and I like to think I have a broad sense of humor but this one didn’t do it for me. It’s very much has a surreal , stream of conscious feel and it was hard to follow.

I really enjoyed the fact that this weird book has an index.

If you like the sense of humor and the illustration style, you'll like this book! So I like this book.

It was weird reading this right after the 2016 election; (like everything else,) it would have made more sense and been more fun if Clinton had won. But we can't blame Weissman for that.

I didn't like it as much as the previous installment, "Barack Hussein Obama"... this one is less absurdist and more plot driven, and a bit crueler, too. But still plenty to love.

What a wild ride! I loved the art, though it might not be everyone's thing. I loved the absurd, wild, bizarre story that just unraveled and unraveled and unraveled more into a big hot mess. But that also might not be everyone's thing. So I highly recommend reading a sample first, if that's available to you, and also being patient. The plot is loose, but there is one and it coalesces as the story progresses. In the beginning, I was a bit on the fence, mainly because I don't follow politics that closely. Someone mentioned reading this right after the 2016 elections was interesting. Well, reading it right before the 2020 elections (and during the pandemic!) is also interesting. The story of the Obama girls looking for theirs dog is fantastically absurd and fun (I use the term loosely; disturbing can just as easily be used.) Overall, I found the whole thing strangely compelling. Recommended for those who like telepathy, toothpaste, and basketball.
