To be honest I don't think that someone who is not familiar with the the game or the lore can really enjoy this book. However someone who loves to play with Overwatch can find some interesting stories about these heroes and it is also well-drawn most of the times. My favorite stories were these one: "Going legit" ,Both Ana short-stories, "Reflections" , "Binary" , "Uprising" .

Pretty nice graphic novel, gives you a little context into the life of your favorite heroes. I believe they should've organized the stories better, but maybe they did on purpose just as they are. Anyhow, I enjoyed it, light read to start the year.

If your a fan of overwatch go read all of the issues since they are all free on the dark horse app.

Overwatch anthology - overwatch anthology contains the first twelve short stories that are a part of the overwatch comic books that range from Reinhardt to Torbjörn to Ana and widow maker.

My thoughts (the good and bad) - the book is filled with lots of great stories and great art, I really like the origin stories and I like that they were pretty short and not dragged but there were some that I feel were really good and deserved more than ten pages. Some of the best stories in the book are Ana Amari, Ana, reflections, uprising, torbjörn and some more. My problem was that some stories were really boring.

Overall great book

Lovely art, oneshot and episodic, not much of a linear or coherent storyline, and most of the issues are too short to go in much in terms of character arc. Still fun to read considering I've never played Overwatch before.

For the purposes of full disclosure, I am not an Overwatch expert. Honestly the reason I picked this up is because my favorite Let's Play Youtube channel, Funhaus, has a whole series on this game and it looks incredibly fun. I love to watch people play this on YouTube so I thought "what the hell" and gave it a read.

This book gives a basic character introduction to what I believe to be the first group of characters originally released for the game (feel free to correct me on this). It's a nice, concise introduction to several people at once, and as the stories go on, you see the ways in which some of their lives weave together. I really enjoyed reading this and the small snippets of backstory made me more interested in going back to watch some playthroughs now that I had the knowledge. The art was beautiful as well and I really enjoyed how some of the style changed depending on the character being introduced. I think Junkrat is my favorite thus far.

I would gladly and happily read the next anthology about some more of the characters not included here, and I look forward to it!
