Whilst trying to save her enemy from school from a psycho witch hunter Jax has to fight off Vampires and Orcs as well.
Life never goes to plan for Jax I just love how she shoulders it all and gets on with what’s thrown at her .
Roshina is perfect at the narration as usual and I love that her English accent sounds like it should.

I am motoring through this series. There is so much going on that each chapter flies by. A whole book later and then I realise we still don't know what Darick was about to confess at the end of book 2. I guess I'll just have to keep reading. And that last scene at the church definitely had a girl-power-super-hero-team feel about it :-)

Another action-packed but pretty depressing book in the Blood Magic series! My only regret is there are no light-hearted scenes in this book in particular and they are few and far between in the series. I think it's overall too depressing. It would be a better series if poor Jax had a bit of a break at times and could finally get two-steps ahead rather than always falling short.
