Very fun kids book! Loved the mystery of if it was magic or of there's a scientific explanation; enjoyed the family dynamics and adventure with real-life problems.

Super cute! Loved the small town village/island setting, it reminded me a lot of stardew valley bc of it. I thought the Somali sisters (is that how you spell it? Idk I listened to the audiobook lol) were all so distinct in their personalities. Also the premise of them visiting their grandpa and the love they had for him was nostalgic for me to read. I remember doing the same and it reminded me of those simpler times.

Overall, I enjoyed this :)
