James tynion did a good job here, mixing past and present.
Even going as far as making a new villain.
The story is about batman going after a bank thief with superpowers, we also see batman's training over the years.
Also what's Dr Tompkins specialty? it seems they just make her do everything lol.

There's nothing better than a good Batman story.

And this is a great one.

Tying together the past and the present.

Comics like this made me wish I read monthlies again. But the quality is just too hit and miss.

I'm not used to reviewing single issues - they're too fast a read.

But the art was great - it brought the action off the page. And the story pulled you into Bruce's mind just a bit. Completely worth reading. This is good comics.

(Bonus: It can be read as a standalone comic.)

Thanks to NetGalley and DC Comics for a copy in return for an honest review.

Wish #51 had been the end to this series. Didn't love the art and thought the storytelling was a little heavy-handed.
