Solid book with some interesting elements like the first. However, the love triangle between the three main characters is unbearable and forced. The ending was also incredibly disappointing.

I really enjoyed this book. Especially, considering that I hate "love triangles" the relationship between alex and the Rain brother was what I liked the most. While this was a science fiction novel I felt that the real story was the bond between the brothers.

This book made me cry more times than I could count (more times then any other book I've read). It was scary, nerve-racking, and highly addicting. I wouldn't recommend this to the faint-of-heart, if you want a gripping, suspense-thriller, something that keeps your heart pounding while you're at the edge of your seat, this is definitely the read for you. Enjoy.

I really enjoyed this book. I like how Chance wasn’t going to give in to Ben. I like how Jo-Jo saved the kids when the Hosts got in. I hate how Ben tried to bargain with the queen for his life. I am glad that Chance and Patrick were both willing to give up their lives to save everyone else. I hate how Patrick had to die but I’m glad that he was able to save everyone under the age of eighteen. I rate this book five stars.

Such an INCREDIBLE read! Just as phenomenal as the first book!!! It had me in tears and it was just absolutely amazing. I don’t know what to do now! HIGHLY RECOMMEND these books!

While the love triangle didn't work for me, this was still a fun, action-packed read. The zombie / alien monsters are terrifying, but Chance is determined to save his friends and his brother from a ghastly death. The story kept me engaged right up to the end, and this was an edge of your seat listen.
