Lovely anthology. Wonderful collection of different artists, topics, cultures, and points of view. Joy to read these lovely bite-size comics that ranged from light-hearted to heavy, and definitely would recommend it.

This is an anthology of genderqueer experiences. Transmen are abysmally underrepresented everywhere, so I particularly appreciated its focus on transman and (AFAB) trans nonbinary.
One mentioned an experience of living with the result of the custom of piecing baby girl’s earlobes, a subject I’d like to read more on.
I also appreciate one talked about the preparation and recovery from top surgery.

This book is perfect for someone coming into or questioning their gender identity, or anyone who loves someone who is and wants to understand their experience.

Short but comforting read that I would recommend to everyone, young or not —or still young people with many years of experience. You don’t need to be trans or even queer to enjoy it and everyone can gain something from those comics. Every experience is unique but each one can make you feel seen and understood, put words on things you thought you were the only one experiencing or make you understand how someone from your surroundings might feel like.

This was a wonderful exploration of all the ways that gender is understood, is lived, is experienced and the importance of finding the expression that makes you feel comfortable with yourself as well as happy with yourself and the world.
