The new art is so noticeable but the art style is beautiful as well! It looks so surreal and colorful. I really love the illustrations!

I like how the comic continues to lay groundwork for TLOK’s events. Of course the issues in the series did not happen for the first time. The rapid technological growth is also becomes evident in this installment. The comics always do such a great job at tying up the Avatar canon universe’s intricate stories, and that’s why they’re a must-read for any fan (including F.C. Lee’s Kyoshi duology).

Loved the art style and the way Faith Erin Hicks perfectly captured these characters and their personalities.

I'm not sure I loved the art style compared to the other ATLA books. I also feel like they keep recycling story lines and this book was no different. However I appreciated the effort spent in trying to show the gang getting older and their features and personalities changing.

The change in art style is drastic and was actually quite distracting. The story was also slow and somewhat boring. I like the politics though. This seems to be the lead in to LOK.

Technically the second time I read this comic in the past month, but shh.
The art is gorgeous in this one. I love seeing the older Gaang, but also the fact that they’re still themselves despite having grown up warms my heart even more.

Another great installment in the Avatar continuation of graphic novels. This story takes us to the future site of Korra’s setting, Air Nomad Island and the integrated city of people from different nations living together. Tensions are rising between benders and non-benders as well as automation vs human workers in manufacturing. I’m about to read the next part in this series, so my review is to be continued.
