I find the concept of this series really intriguing and I think it does well to reflect the state of popular culture today. I would also like to state my appreciation for some of the plot twists which occur in this volume it constantly kept me guessing . I couldn't stop until I had finished the whole thing!

I didn't realise how long it had been since I last read this series, but it must have been a good few years because BOY is it a time capsule of the 2010s. I mean this in the best possible way - it captures the zeitgeist of the new 10s like Scott Pilgrim did for the 00s.
It's an amazing book (as is everything in WicDiv) but honestly even if it wasn't I'd give this 5 stars, because I'm a sucker for anything that accurately portrays places I've been and this was set almost entirely at Fantheon (basically London MCM but for god-musicians) at the London ExCel. You can tell that Gillen and McKelvie have spent far more time there than any human being rightfully should, and they capture it perfectly.

Whoa. I never thought I would get into a graphic novel series, but the art and reinterpretations of the gods just win me over. Plus, THAT ENDING!!!!!
