"Deep Cuts" is a treasure trove of good horror fiction, both in terms of the stories and the recommendations of ‘further reading’ of women writers to check out supplied by those who submitted pieces to the anthology.
Still, I long for a day when there won’t be a need to have this gender debate, and readers will all agree that gender, whether male or female, doesn’t determine whether someone is a good writer, or if their stories are interesting or compelling.
