The first book may have introduced us to this world but this book expands it, digging in deeper, and breaking it down. Is he a friend or a foe, a monarch or a dictator? Will they meet again or die trying? This book takes you in an emotional ride that leaves you wanting just one more chapter!

I enjoyed this duology immensely and wouldn't mind a third book if one is ever written. I loved the world building and the characters. It has some odd pacing at times, but overall I would reread DOT and VOT again.
