read this because the reformatory was on hold but if this is what ms due is giving then shit. im good. im sure she’s improved over the years but this was so bad that i don’t even wanna find out. which sucks because i really want to like her work but god. no finesse, no style, little characterization beyond stock stereotypes and the horror? LOL. it’s not like this didn’t have promise but the turn it took after the initial drowning was so rough and silly it just never recovered. i just… what’s going on here? in the authors note she says this had a hard time getting picked up and i see why. straight ASS.
