I loved how the author could paint the scenes of Paris! This story was a great escape read, something to fill a summer afternoon where you just want to switch off.

All the talk about perfumes and scents was suprisingly relaxing. I really loved that.

There was, however, barely a “romance” plot. This book was more about Del finding herself / trying to figure out what she was doing with her life when her plans have changed. And I related to that.

I didn’t find the ending very satisfying. It felt a bit corny and too quick for me.

THE LITTLE PERFUME SHOP OFF THE CHAMPS-ELYSEES by Rebecca Raisin made me smile. A lot! Her knowledge (and evident research) of perfume is extraordinary and makes for a delightful read. That, and the romance that pulled me in from the get-go. I highly recommend this book!
