Bitter is a quick Snow White retelling with gangsters and a smart victim.  I enjoyed the plot twists and revenge.  The ending shocked me.  I did wonder how this guy doesn't recognize the girl after only 2 years though.

I finished chapter 5 and decided to DNF. I am not a fan of the writing and everything is just thrown at you. There is no buildup or character development. It's only 9 chapters so I was trying really hard to finish it but I just couldn't. The cover is gorgeous and why I wanted to read it. I feel like it could be so much better if we just slowed things down a bit.
