My kids love this series, and I really don't mind. I have learned some baseball history reading this with my kids.

My kids were entranced by the story of the Black Sox and Shoeless Joe, and this story had some entertainment value, but doesn’t have much literary worth and some moments of mild slapstick/crude humor.
