What is there to say about this book without spoiling it for everyone? In the 6th instalment of KL Bone's Black Rose Guard series she tells the story of Princess Liza and her death. This book will put you right in your feels and make you hurt for Princess Liza and all she endured. Yet at the same time fall madly in love with her strength. You start the story of hating certain characters only to also fall in love with them knowing already what happened too them in the end but KL Bone does a great job of giving them their own story it doesn't take away from knowing the outcome. Can't wait to read Daughters of the Rose next.

This was such a wonderful, heartbreaking read. I really enjoyed this fantasy and the fact that it had me hooked from the first page. I loved how fast paced it was. This is the first book by K.L. Bone that I have read but I plan on reading this series. I loved the writing and the characters and both were beautifully written.
