Another solid entry to the Fusion series. I especially enjoyed Trevor’s character because I picked a gamer geek as my partner too! A touch of other woman drama but doesn’t totally overshadow the story. Oddly enough, that’s the part of the story that disappointed the most. It felt like it didn’t resolve with enough flare. But enjoyed !!

The Beauty of Us was an enjoyable, sweet, fun, entertaining and engaging story. With two extremely likable characters. Who shared plenty of flirty moments and banter. Although I never really felt that translated into chemistry when Riley and Trevor got together.

However the actual story really did grab my attention and it was easy to read. It also had very little angst and as always it was great to catch up with the other characters in this series. Including Mia, Addie, Cami and Kat. Plus that epilogue certainly left me excited and intrigued for Mias story and I would happily recommend The Beauty of Us to others. Especially if you are a fan of the author. Or have enjoyed the previous books in this series.

3.5 The Beauty of Us Stars

Hmm, I realllly wanted to like this book as much as the others in this series.

But it just fell flat for me, I didn’t hate it just didn’t LOVVVVE it. I like Riley, but she seems a little needed in this book.

And there was dramalama ack you all know how much I hate drama for drama’s sake.
Two things I don’t like about Trevor, One I thought he was an alcoholic for 10 year.. Yet he was drinking beer and something else on other night.. That was confusing.
Second, he has this all important job and he doesn’t get a new cell when his gets messed up.

So other than those I liked the story. I liked that at the beginning of the book they were very adult and there wasn’t any drama. They were open and honest. I love the connection the girls all have with one another. I think that makes these books so awesome.

I just wished Riley’s book didn’t have the holes and the drama because I quiet liked her in the previous books.

Now I love me some SebYo <3 soooo yummy. But Abby Craden it’s a sometimes I like and sometimes I don’t, this time it was a like  So yeah!

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

This was a fun, light story with likable characters. There's a great mix of sweet and heat with some light drama mixed in. It was slightly predictable at times, but all in all, I had a good time reading it.

It started strong and I was enjoying the great dialogue and fun banter, I liked both Trevor and Riley. They had an instant attraction happening with good chemistry and I enjoyed them spending time together. Trevor was a total sweetheart and so thoughtful. I did like Riley but I felt a disconnect when it came to her, I was missing really getting to know her.

The second half was a bit slower for me and some things felt glossed over. It was good and I enjoyed it but nothing major was happening. It's pretty fast paced and not very in depth. Yes, it was a lighter read so I wasn’t expecting extremely deep and meaningful but I was excepting more than I got.

The bottom line is that it was a fun group of characters and it was entertaining to read. It left me smiling for sure and it was the perfect choice after reading something heavy.

This is the most basic, cliched book I've read in ages. The two leads were painfully unspectacular. At what point the male lead says about Riley, female lead, that she is the most intriguing person he'd ever met. I was like, What? Where did this come from? She has done nothing to show she's anything but a basic-bitch who drinks wine, can't seem to talk to her girlfriends about anything other than men and says things that are said on every broadcast TV sitcom ever. And then there's the plot point where, not one, but two "crazy bitches" stalks the male lead because somehow they think he's some kind of Roman god despite him being nothing but a basic bro-dude who games with his other bro-dudes. I'm sorry but someone's going to have to explain to me how they can give this thing anything over a one star rating.

I loved this beautiful amazing book. it was in many ways like our heroine, Riley. it was strong, confident, smart, sweet, sexy, funny and genuinely fun to be around. my favorite part of this book though is Riley stating again and again that she doesn't do drama. Everytime drama came to her door, she was like nope. it was amazing and refreshing to read such an adult attitude. Even the story didn't contain much excess drama or when it did it was handled maturely and calmly. I loved how Riley took charge of her life and was a strong woman with a strong group of women supporting her. The group dynamics are always one of my favorite parts of a Kristen Proby book and this was no exception. The women shine in this series and the men support and love and don't have to step in and take over. it is a wonderful, beautiful healthy dynamic that she has created and it is what keeps me coming back each and every time.
I highly recommend this book for a light but amazing read. Each character shines in their own way and make each book better than the last.

What a mess. The heroine acts like a pathetic stereotype while drunk, the hero is bossy and controlling by the second date in a way that someone who has no experience with kink probably thinks doms behave, and the relationship progresses in these weird fits and starts that basically skips all the steps in between "I don't know you" and "we're in an established relationship". The awful, unsexy "I can't be gentle this time" sex just killed me. Decent men control their dicks, not the other way around. They also don't just forget to use a condom because they're "so passionate". They also don't show up uninvited and ready to fight someone at a girl's house after ONE DATE because there was a male voice in the background when she calls him. He also doesn't give her stern lectures on what a Good Guy me is. The more I think about this guy, the more I'm SURE he controls her life and probably hits her a few years down the line. He's terrifying.
