The art in this is incredibly consistent and appealing. These books are worth getting just to flip through and study. Joëlle Jones is doing a great job with this so far, and the writing is actually a tasteful palate cleanser from the OP Catwoman of Tom King's current Batman arc. Just try to forget how inane she was in Batman 50...and how overpowered she was before that, and start fresh. This Catwoman's dive into self-destruction is a bit more nuanced than Judd Winnick's or Ann Nocenti's "Catwoman post-break-up" arcs. It a subdued story with an interesting new villain that promises to be a rich standalone series.

I didn't read Batman #50 and I don't really care for the wedding. I do have the graphic novel for this (I think the first volume) and I hope it gets better. The plot was okay. The artwork I didn't like at all.

I have been a fan of Selina Kyle for as long as I remember, and as soon as I saw one of my favorite writers/artists was leading a new solo series, needless to say, I was pretty excited.

After the let down of Batman #50, this comic did stunning at showing how those actions had effects on her. It set off with a great story, ending on a cliffhanger which made me excited to see what's to come next.

I've been kept up with Selina's story through Batman, her other comics or just curious what's all the hype is about for this darling feline, this is the place to start for fans new and old.

I am so excited that Catwoman is getting her own series. Yes, I know it’s a mini-series, and yes I know it all started out because of the Wedding hype, but I’m still really happy with it. Who knows, if the sales are good enough maybe Selena Kyle will get her own series for good. That’d be amazing.
Anyway, moving on. I’d strongly suggest you read the Batman #50 issue before reading this. Otherwise you’re totally going to have that one spoiled. Though a lot of news stations have spoiled it anyway…so grain of salt and all that.
This was a pretty decent issue on the whole. A great start too. I feel like we’ve done this sort of plot before, but on a much smaller scale. Seeing it at these crazy proportions could get very interesting. I hope it holds up in the long run.
I would have liked to see a bit for how she felt about the Wedding issue. I don’t feel like I have a good grasp on that yet. Yes, I have a pretty decent idea of what happened and why, but I’m also not one hundred percent certain that my assumption is correct.

The art is very good and if this weren’t coming off the back of a predictable lack of courage (in writing not in the character) in the main Batman book, I’d be more interested in the story set up here. As is, I can barely care.

A wonderful balm for the injuries inflicted by King. I'm sorry for Jones she has to stick with that dumb drama, but at least she's exploring it in a great way. Here's hoping she gets to bring Selina back to Gotham and to the love and happiness she deserves. Repeat after me: a failed marriage should not break up the strongest couple in DC-verse!

The main storyline starts with a bang, I can't wait to watch it unfolds and to cheer Selina on while she kicks female Voldemort's ass ♥
