I whipped through this book and really enjoyed it. Akala has an unusual style that lends itself to the spoken word, so might be worth doing the audiobook for this one. But his commentary on race, class and colonialism are interesting, particularly when reflected through his own life. The accounts of racism that he experienced as a child are confronting and cruel and are an indictment on the British education system (and many other western systems that devalue and discredit different cultures).
