A sweet cozy and wintry story about a mouse who happily embraces who she is and the things she loves! Beautiful art style with this one too.

A cute story about Lucy the mouse who loves winter. Unfortunately, her friends don't share this enthusiasm. One day, Lucy accidentally discovers a new winter activity that she is sure her friends will enjoy. A heartwarming tale about friendship, and I loved the "cheese"-y jokes! It's a little reminiscent of Kevin Henkes's Chrysanthemum.

A lovely little tale with absolutely charming illustrations. I wish someone would read this to me at bedtime; for I cannot think of more delightful visions to go to sleep with. Everyone will find their own unique symbolism in this one.

Lucy is a mouse who - unlike other mice - loves winter, but she is lonely enjoying winter by herself. As someone who loves winter hiking but doesn't know anyone else who does, this story really spoke to me. The illustrations were beautiful, and I think the font was a pretty choice that was still easy to read. Also, there are cheese puns!
