I received an ARC copy from Netgalley. I generally try to finish any book I receive for review because I am grateful for the opportunity, but I DNF The Joy of Comfort Eating. By 60%, I wasn't invested in the characters, the relationships, or the final outcome of the book. Additionally I found several of the secondary characters to be extremely cliche. I also spent most of the 60% I did read confused by the South African terminology (ex. open plan = condo?) and got tired of looking up what they meant.
