Funny and smart with nice character depth especially if you've read the others in the series. I love the plot within plot within plot within.. You get the idea. I have yet to figure out every "big reveal" in the books but have tons of fun with the action, politics, and music playlists.

This book was so fantastic! Loved reading it, so much happened, like the Mastermind, and yeah, so many other things, as well! Loved it! Can't wait to read more!

And the web gets bigger. All of the stories are lining up! I wonder how much longer we are gonna be lead on this adventure. A web of lies hiding a criminal mastermind. I can’t wait to see Jamie’s potential, if Kitty has another kid, if we are gonna continue with the thick diplomacy plots, and all that. Gonna start the next book now!

Still fun but a couple of things kept me from enjoying it as much as the others. First the cast of characters has gotten too big for me I know who the main players are but I'm kind of lost with the second tier. The other is a bit of a spoiler so I'll just say that I thought Kitty did something that made me question her "good guy" status. Mostly still a lot of fun though.

This edition of the Kitty Katt series seemed a bit more detailed and complex than some of the previous ones. Now we have to find a mastermind and all minions vying for apprentice position. Kitty is visited by people we thought long gone, some are good to see and some not so great. In addition to all the madness of who's killing who, and who's out to get the aliens, we have Jamie's first birthday approaching as well as a wedding to plan! I was more saddened by some of the losses in this book than I have been in the past books. I think Kitty's own grieving contributed to that. But in the end, we've found at least the apprentices and made some new friends along the way.

I'm a fan of this series. I started it when it first came out. I realized last year that I've fallen behind and going to try to catch up this year.

I love Kitty + ginormous gang. Since it's been a while, it was nice to have small recaps thrown in during the first portion of the book, but certain parts became redundant & repetitive as the story continued. Too much of a good thing can become annoying when they take up space rather than give relevant or new details for a good plot. Quirks are fine. Just have them in place and let it happen naturally. It's not as fun when the quirks are emphasized more than a complex plot line. It made the story bloated and took away any tension or thrill that should have been in place for many of the events in the book.

The actual plot for the book was great. I love the Kitty's family, adopted family, extended friend-family and Zoo of pet family. However, if I went and cut out all the extra junk, I would probably cut out about 150 pages from the book. It was nice for the little backstory about Kitty & Chuckie's days in school, because that is the point. Everyone thinks Kitty is a sorority gal without much of a brain. They forget that she knows how to work and do what needs to be done. That she's rather smart behind the pop culture geekery. That's why she's one of the leaders. It's hard to remember that when the reader is constantly reminded that she isn't taken seriously. That happened like every other page. It's a lot.

I'll load up the next book for me to read in the middle of February. =)

It started off a little slow but Gini quickly reminds us why we love Kitty so much. 3.5 stars. Soon there's not going to be any single ACs left.

Every time I read about the poofs I picture a cross between a tribble and a gremlin. I want one!
