Very much enjoyed this collection of travel vignettes by Marco Ferrarese. He's the real deal when it comes to roughing it on the road and ending up in places many of us wouldn't dare to go or wouldn't even know exist. He's also a very talented writer, crafting his captivating stories with remarkable gusto and no small amount of wit. This is travel writing at its best, sensible, funny, carefully researched, and with a penchant for the unexpected and, sometimes, the utterly wacky! A young writer to watch.
