7/10. This book was a good way to learn about Greek heroes or refresh your memory on the ones you already know. I also enjoyed Percy's commentary and insights into the stories. However, I was surprised and disappointed that the journey of Odysseus, the most famous Greek hero and story, was left out of this book. One could argue that his journey would be too long to include but I would argue that it could easily be abridged in the same way Jason and the Argonaut's story was in this same book. Regardless, I look forward to reading this story to my future children to introduce them to Greek mythology and heroic tales.

Honestly, I didn't anticipate enjoying Percy Jackson's Greek Heroes as much as I did. Having Percy's added humor as he told each hero's story was fantastic.

Reading this after reading both Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus, I found it really interesting as I recognized random different names and stories.

A great companion book to both of Rick Riordan's Greek mythology series!
