Families are rough. This family has some issues. Loved the different perspectives. For fans of character driven novels.

I really wanted to love this book but it was a major struggle to get through. Rowe is clearly a gifted writer and her prose is well written but I found the characters very bland and ultimately couldn’t really see what she was trying to say. I found a lot of the sections quite boring and only finished it because it was so short. If it had been longer I feel I would have given up. Only two stars because Rowe is clearly a talented writer and I feel if she finds something with a bit more substance she may have better results.
